Shipping & Delivery Policy Last Updated: August 8, 2026 At Defender Bikes, many of our bicycles are built, configured, and prepared specifically for each customer. Because of this, the time required to complete an order may vary depending on the bicycle configuration, component availability, production requirements, and shipping destination. 1. Order Processing and Build Time Bicycles may require production, painting, assembly, setup, inspection, and packaging before they are ready to ship. Any estimated build or completion date provided when an order is placed is an estimate and is not a guaranteed delivery date. We will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed if a significant delay affects their order. 2. Shipping Once your bicycle or other order is ready to ship, Defender Bikes will arrange shipment using an appropriate carrier and service based on the product and destination. When available, tracking information will be provided after the shipment has been processed by the carrier. Shipping times shown by a carrier are estimates and may be affected by weather, transportation disruptions, holidays, remote delivery locations, or other circumstances outside Defender Bikes’ control. 3. Shipping Charges Applicable shipping charges, if any, will be displayed during checkout, included in your order documentation, or communicated to you before the order is finalized. Additional charges may apply for expedited shipping, special handling, remote locations, international destinations, or other unusual shipping requirements. 4. Delivery Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order. Please inspect the shipping carton and bicycle promptly upon delivery. If the package appears significantly damaged, photograph the packaging before opening it whenever possible. After opening the shipment, inspect the bicycle and its contents for visible shipping damage. If you discover shipping damage, missing items, or an incorrect item, contact Defender Bikes promptly and retain the original packaging while the issue is being reviewed. Photos of the packaging, shipping label, bicycle, components, and damaged areas may be required to process a carrier claim or resolve the issue. 5. Bicycle Assembly After Delivery Depending on the shipping method and bicycle, some assembly or adjustment may be required after delivery. Customers should follow all instructions supplied with the bicycle. If you are not comfortable completing the required assembly or safety checks, we strongly recommend having the bicycle inspected and assembled as necessary by a qualified bicycle mechanic before riding. Before riding, verify that all safety-critical components are correctly installed, adjusted, and secured, including the wheels, handlebar and stem, brakes, pedals, suspension components, and drivetrain. 6. Delivery Delays Defender Bikes is not responsible for reasonable delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including carrier delays, severe weather, natural disasters, transportation interruptions, customs processing, supply-chain disruptions, or other similar events. We will make reasonable efforts to assist customers when a shipment is significantly delayed or appears to have been lost in transit. 7. Lost or Damaged Shipments If tracking information indicates that an order has been lost, or if a shipment arrives damaged, contact Defender Bikes promptly. We will work with the carrier and customer to investigate the shipment and determine the appropriate resolution. Customers should not discard shipping cartons, protective materials, or other packaging associated with a damaged shipment until Defender Bikes confirms that they are no longer needed. 8. Incorrect Shipping Information Customers are responsible for reviewing their shipping information for accuracy. If you discover an error in your shipping address before your order ships, contact Defender Bikes immediately. Once an order has shipped, address changes may not be possible and may result in additional carrier charges. Additional shipping costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer may be the customer’s responsibility. 9. International Shipping International availability may vary by product and destination. International customers may be responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, VAT, or other charges imposed by the destination country unless Defender Bikes specifically states that such charges are included in the purchase. Customs processing may also affect estimated delivery times. 10. Warranty and Shipping Damage Manufacturing defects and workmanship issues are handled under the Defender Bikes Warranty & Liability Policy. Damage occurring during shipment should be reported to Defender Bikes promptly so that we can evaluate the damage and, where appropriate, pursue a claim with the shipping carrier. 11.
